Challenge

The client is a technology company that processes large volume of data for their clients and reports back the issues. They used a set of third-party resources & services and had to complete several steps manually to achieve this.

Solution

A highly scalable web-based solution fulfills all the necessary requirements that can be hosted on a central server or conveniently installed using an embedded web server on the client-server. The solution provided by Elait has the following features:

  • Upload of large zip files containing the client's code.
  • Asynchronous unpacking of the source code into its original folder structure.
  • Comparison algorithm parameters are configurable from the UI, and support is available for performing multiple comparisons simultaneously.
  • Asynchronous comparison at a directory level and file-level.
  • The parameters are all serialised and stored in a database for easy search and retrieval using the purpose-built UI.
  • Enterprise design patterns used in development allow for easy extensibility for adding new filters, features, and exposure via web API.

Outcome

In addition to achieving the specified business objectives within the project deadline, the developed solution can now be sold for an extra cost by the client as a feature add-on.

Life Insurance Online

Challenge

An American Life Insurance company spread across 38 states was challenged to manage & collate background information with third-party elements, Underwriter for a Premium quote, Payment Gateway, and Carrier for policy creation.

Solution

Elait’s solution connected with 3rd party API’s like Lexis Nexis to enrich the data like getting driving history and health history, Authorise .Net for payment gateway and Docu-sign for signatures of the policy document. 

This solution, which is portable across multiple devices had some unique functionalities like Accelerated Death Benefit Rider: receive up to half of the Death Benefit in advance while living if diagnosed with a terminal illness, managing optional riders with additional coverages available, such as Accidental Death Benefit & Waiver of Premium – waives your premium payments for a period of time for total disability to name a few. 

Some of the technologies used were Angular JS, React JS, Bootstrap framework, Python, Falcon, MySQL, SQL Alchemy, ORM.

Outcome

This single-window solution from Elait helped various carriers to buy Life Insurance and helped the client save significant money usually offered as fees to brokers and call centers as operating expenses.

Challenge

A three decade old NGO that promotes educational & other needs such as assessments, preparation & developing remedial centers for specially-abled persons faced difficulty handling data in diverse formats stored in several excels.

Solution

Elait developed a single-window approach to handle their comprehensive data after assessing their problem. A cloud-hosted data collection portal for Data Analytics & the remedial course was found fit for their requirements. To build this approach, Elait used Python & Falcon framework.

Outcome

The NGO officials were able to protect the workflow with Elait’s solution. In addition to greater assistance the solutions also provided resources to improve children’s hidden abilities and talents effectively. The Elait-built interface allowed teachers and guardians to disseminate information and effectively track children’s success and well-being.
