Associate – Testing

Roles and responsibilities:

• Should work as a team player.
• Should write test cases as per the requirement (Simple to Complex).
• BI report testing.
• Participate in peer reviews.
• Write queries to validate the transformations in the mapping.
• Helps the juniors in query writing.
• Should participate in the BA discussions.

Mandatory Skills: 

• Must have hands-on experience in SQL queries.
• All types of Joins, conditions in joins, subqueries, nested sub queries.
• Group By, Having clause.
• Set operators, rank, dense rank.
• Functions (date, string, casting, conversion etc.), date-time manipulation, case statements, Except, Not In.
• Strong in SQL queries especially advanced queries like operators, joins, sub-queries, nested sub-queries, corelated queries, clustered, non-clustered indexes.
• Common Table Expressions, recursive CTE’s, temporary functions, temporary tables.
• Good in ETL- DW, report testing.
• Good test design and defect analysis skills.
• Good in communication skills.
• Good understanding in Agile process.

Good to have:

• Stored Procedures and data analysis skills

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Any professional degree or equivalent.
